Johnalie (Smith) Hill

Hill, Johnalie, 68, Johnstown, passed away  July 6, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. Born October 19, 1948 in Johnstown daughter of Charles Sr. and Ruby V. (Greene) Smith. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward L. Hill; brothers, Jack Smith and Charles Smith Jr. and sister, Judy Ward. Survived by children; Sharon married to James Herndon, Darren Hill, Brian Hill and fiancé Janelle Bobak, Rodney and fiancé Misty Urban; fifteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; siblings, Don Smith married to Linda, Helen “Lou” married to Erskine Thompson and Marvin Smith; a host of in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. James Missionary Baptist church where she was a Deaconess, a member of the choir and a Sunday school teacher. She loved to bowl at Richland lanes. She was previously employed at Gee Bee’s, a housekeeper at Mrs. Steels, Hills and Ames Department stores and most recently retired from Walmart.  Friends will be received Monday from 6-8 pm at St. James Missionary Baptist Church where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1:00 pm., Rev. Dr. Ralph E. Johnson. Interment Grandview Cemetery. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the family.
