John Jerasa, Jr. Obituary

CPO John W. Jerasa, Jr., USN, Retired, 71, Richland, died November 4, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born November 25, 1947 in Johnstown, son of John, Sr. and Wanda (Rowley) Jerasa. Preceded in death by parents; and infant siblings, Linda, Joseph, and Carl. Survived by wife, Sharon A. (Fern); and siblings, Kathy Jacobs, James, Ronald, Donald, Carol Sulkosky, Michael and Frank; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was retired from the US Navy. By request, there will be no public viewing. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service Saturday at 11AM at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., with Pastor Len Findley officiating. Military rite will be conducted by Chas. Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team immediately following the service.
