To John's wife and son, of whom he deeply loved and spoke so highly, I wanted to offer my sympathy and condolences. Before I moved to Raleigh, NC, in May, I had the privilege of working with John as a Co-Courier. Not only did I have the privilege of being his co-worker but I had the honor of getting to know him personally. I could fill many pages with stories about John, all of which had me in stitches with tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. With so many qualities which make a up a great man the one that stands out the most about John is the fact that there was never any 'grey area'; you were either a hard worker or a lazy...something else. His work ethic and determination has no equal. He either liked you and said so or didn't and still said so. His loyalty was a thing treasured and unmatched. When you had a friend in John, that stuck for good. No one will ever forget John Gjurich, nor should they.

We are so sorry to hear about Pudge. What a strong person that fought the good fight. I am sure he will continue to look down on you both from Heaven above. We are here for you both if you ever need us. We will continue to pray for all of you. God Bless and Rest in Peace Pudge....
