James Thomas Rosenbaum, 76, Johnstown, adopted son of the late Joseph Andrew Rosenbaum and Anna Grace (Larkin) Rosenbaum, and birth parents, Mary Louise (Lehmier) Walsh and George Gelles. Born in Pittsburgh, on August 2, 1941, and died at home on June 15, 2018. Survived by wife, the former Frederica Rose (Konoski), and three children, Kirk Fitzpatrick Rosenbaum, married to Mary Elizabeth (Myers), and their children, Lindsey Rae Rosenbaum and Travis John Rosenbaum, all of South Fork; Teresa Chris’ Ann (Rosenbaum) Lavely, married to Michael Zane Lavely, and their children, Megan and Mackenzie, all of Geistown; and Gregory James Rosenbaum, Falling Waters, WV; adopted brother, Kenneth Eugene Rosenbaum, married to the late Jennie Elizabeth (Rummel) Rosenbaum, and their children, Joseph Robert Rosenbaum and Jennifer Marie Rosenbaum, all of NJ; an unknown half sibling; half siblings, Georgette Marie (Gelles) (Kush) Lynn, and her children, Traci Lynn Kush and Brent Raymond Kush; Anthony George Gelles, married to Diane, TX, and his children, Paul George Gelles and Mark Anthony Gelles; Mary Ann (Walsh) Holtz, married to Leo Joseph Holtz, and their children, Mary Ann Holtz, (deceased), and Leigh Ann (Holtz) Kozak, and Gretchen Marie (Holtz) Saboe; Patricia Jean (Walsh) Smith, married to David John Smith, and their children, Jennifer Joyce (Smith) Manges, and Stephanie Jo (Smith) Rucker; Brenda Darlene (Gelles) (Svencer) McLean, and her children, Todd Alan Svencer, Sr., Jason Eric Svencer, and Seneca Shawn McLean (deceased); Susan Marie (Walsh) (Sichko) (McMullen) Bork, and her children, Robert Gary Sichko, Eric McMullen, Marie (McMullen) Dumm, and Paul Edward McMullen, Jr.; Paul Edward Walsh, married to Sandra Lea Bearer, and their children, Jacob Jesse Walsh, Benjamin Joseph Walsh, and Luke Anthony Walsh; Sharon Ann (Walsh) Michny, married to James Edward Michny, and their children, Jeffrey Michny and Lisa Michny; Renee Michele (Gelles) (Babiak) Lehosit, FL; godson Michael Joseph Rosenbaum; and friends, David Allan Rovder and Michael Mertle. He was a USMC veteran, an alumnus of St. Francis (Seraphic) Prep, St. Vincent (Scholastic ate), Johnstown Central Catholic HS, and a UPJ graduate. He had worked for Bethlehem Steel Corporation and USPO. There will be no public visitation. Private services will be held at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Rev. David S. Peles, celebrant.
