.James E. McDaniel, “Sonny Mac”, 81, Johnstown, died October 26, 2019 at home. Born July 18, 1938 in Bishopville, SC son of Clyde McDaniel and Pauline (Holmes) Young. Preceded in death by parents; step father, Nash Young; former wife, Lois J. McGhee; son, James “Reese” and his wife Linda; brother, Mallie; and long-time companion, Carolyn Glover. Survived by children, Pauline, John (Theresa), Frederick, Lois Callahan, Yvette Anderson, and Michelle (Jeremiah Hollman); 13 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. Brother of Eular Coleman, and Dessie Jenkins. Friends received 5-8PM Friday at Bethel A.M.E. Church, where funeral service will be held 11AM Saturday. Interment, Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
