Irene Nagrant, 93, Emerson, NJ, formerly of Conemaugh, died June 14, 2019. Born June 10, 1926, in Conemaugh, daughter of George and Anna (Petriska) Makuchan. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Joseph; brothers, George, Jr., and Michael; and sisters, Bertha Crocco, Margaret Verno, Mary Scherzer, Ann Grabusnik, Elizabeth Makuchan, Olga Pruchnic, and Julia Yackulich. Survived by daughter, Marcia (Steve Literati, III), Ridgewood, NJ; and grandchildren, Steve Literrati, IV, Daniel Literati, and Amanda Literati. Sister of Elaine (Robert Ritchey); and Sally (George Kalinyak). There will be no public visitation. Graveside service will be private. Arrangements are by Henderson-Makuchan Funeral Home, 434 First St., Conemaugh.
