Henry A. Seecs, 83, of Johnstown, died December 18, 2018 at Cambria Care Center. Born September 9, 1935 in Twin Rocks, son of Henry and Elizabeth (Bukovich) Seecs. Preceded in death by parents and step daughter, Kimberly Miller. Survived by wife Janice Seecs, daughters; Karen Rhodes, Mary Beth (Perry) Paganelli, Jennifer (Mathew) Mielnik, Rebecca (Jonathan) Banks, step daughters; Lisa (Timothy) Walsh, Michele (John) Carroll, son-in-law; Raymond (Sandy) Miller, special nephew and niece Michael and Judy Latta, thirteen grandchildren, five step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren. Henry retired from Peoples Natural Gas Company with forty years of service. He along with Janice enjoyed taking their R.V. south for the winter. He was a past exalted ruler of BPOE Lodge 175 and during his professional career volunteered with many civic and charitable organizations. He also enjoyed fishing and was an avid golfer. When he was younger his uncle would take him to Pittsburgh to practice with the Pirates. He was a professional baseball player with the Philadelphia Phillies organization, assigned to the Georgia-Florida League farm system where he played for 2 seasons until an injury ended his baseball career. U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War Era. Friends will be received Friday from 4:00-6:00 pm at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:00 pm, Rev. Clarence Bridges. Interment Grandview Cemetery.
