Helen Torina Obituary

Helen M. Torina, 91, Johnstown, died January 15, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center. Born February 8, 1928 in Johnstown, daughter of Joseph and Christine (Panarella) Torina. Preceded in death by parents; and brother, Joseph. Survived by several cousins. Helen volunteered for twelve years at the Community Arts Center. She was a member of the Johnstown Art League, and the Retired Registered Nurses. She served as a nurse in the US Navy, and retired as a nursing supervisor from UPMC Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh. By request, there will be no public viewing. Funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
