Hannah Christine (Hildebrand) Bender

BENDER- Hannah Christine, 98, of South Carolina formerly of Johnstown and Windber where she lived  at Quemahoning Towers for 30 years.   Passed away on May 22, 2019 in South Carolina.  Born January 12, 1921 in Johnstown. Daughter of Blair Hildebrand and Effie (Havener) Hildebrand-Riddinger.  Preceded in death by parents, step father Carl Riddinger, husband Robert E., Daughter Pamella Felix, sister Sara Smith and brother Blair.  Survived by children Sandra Guyer of Bedford and David of Pasadena, MD; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and brother Warren Riddinger of NC.   She was the oldest member of Moxham Church of the Brethren.  Also, member of Axillaries for the church and Geistown Vol. Fire Hall, and Cambria County Farm Women Society.  Hannah went on many mission trips to Africa and Haiti, including her last trip when she was in her eighties.  Funeral Service will be held 2:00 Friday at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. Pastor Daniel Rhodes, officiating.  Interment at Headrick Union Cemetery, where she was a former board member.  www.hendersonfuneralhome.com
