Georgetta Eck

Eck, Georgetta, 94, Johnstown, died June 24, 2019 at the Allegheny Lutheran Home. Born January 4, 1925 in Johnstown, daughter of George F and Bertha E. (Miller) Drummer. Preceded in death by parents; husband Ludwig D. Eck; brother James Durmmer. Survived by children Doris Jane, Janice Lynn, Jennifer married to Teddy Printy, Jacqueline Suzanne married to Edward Hockenberry; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; siblings Lillian Thiel, Charles Drummer, Nellie Jane Gustkey. She was a member of First Lutheran Church,  the Franklin H.S. alumni association and Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge #159. She graduated from Conemaugh School of Nursing in 1946. She was in charge of the nursery at First Lutheran. Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 at John Henderson Company Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held SATURDAY at 1:00 pm at St Paul's Lutheran Church, 3328 William Penn Ave., Johnstown PA 15909, Pastor Kevin McNamara.
