Florence L. George, 95, Johnstown, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior August 28, 2018 at Windber Hospital. Born September 29, 1922 in Fairmount City, PA daughter of Edward and Eva (Lerch) Nale. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Dale J.; siblings, Mildred, Hilma, Burton, Homer, Clarence, Floyd and two infant siblings. Survived by children; Connie married to William J. Taylor and William married to the former Barbara Moore; grandchildren, Kimberly Kestner, Daniel Kestner married to Nikki, Jodie married to Noah Erickson, Daniel James Turney; great grandchildren, Nolan Reese and Grayson Riley Erickson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She attended the former Riverside Grace Brethren Church. She enjoyed music, more specifically playing the piano, organ and violin. She also loved adult coloring and crossword puzzles. In her dating years, she would fly aerobatics in biplanes with Dale. At Florence's request, all services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Liberty Grace Brethren Church, 1081 Tener Street Johnstown, PA 15904 in Florence's name. John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. is serving the family.
