Ethel M Cassidy, 93, Richland Township, passed away November 24, 2019 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born March 18th 1926, daughter of Charles R. Sr. and M. Catherine (Palm) Boxler. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Clair “Bud” Cassidy; brothers: Charles R. Jr., James & Thomas Boxler; sisters: Clara Pudliner, Martha Skovensky & Mary Theresa Knipple; daughter-in-law Elly Cassidy; nephew, Tommy Boxler; & great-niece, MaDee Boxler. Survived by loving children; Raymond (Rick) married to Darlene; Patrick married to De; Deborah married Mark Rychak; and Diana married to Randy Karpen, grandchildren; Samuel Karpen; Ryan Rychak (Ashley); Kelly Snead (William); Kate Duzan (Christopher), adorable great-grandchildren; Livy and Charlie Rychak. Also survived by brother, Richard Boxler (Jackie); sisters, Mildred and Peggy Boxler, and Joann Davies (Dick) and numerous nieces and nephews. Retired as Inspector at Dorfman Hoffman Sewing Factory. Ethel was a talented seamstress and crafter; who made all her own clothing. She also enjoyed cross-word puzzles and playing Saygo with her dear friend Margaret. The family would like to thank the staff of Arbutus Park Manor & AseraCare Hospice for their deep compassion. Ethel was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, where Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am November 29th with the Rev. David S. Peles. Committal Richland Cemetery.
