Douglas J. Cruse

Cruse, Douglas James, 69, died at Windber Hospice. Born to John and Virginia (Walls) Cruse. Preceded in death by parents, wife, Elizabeth "Betsy" (McCoy) and sister, Nancy Moss. Survived by daughters, Melissa (Andrew) Kephart and Amy Cruse both of Johnstown, only granddaughter Rebecca Kephart, brother, Dennis (Leann) Cruse, aunts and uncles, and numerous nieces and nephews. Doug graduated from Johnstown High School in 1968 and served in the Army National Guard as a military policeman. He retired from Hiram G. Andrews. He was a member of the American Legion Post 849, Harmony Singing Society and various other clubs. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Ash Street .He was an avid watcher of the television show Jeopardy and NASCAR, and enjoyed camping.
