MILLER- Donald R, 80, Johnstown. Passed away August 29, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. Son of Paul and Myrtle (Covalt) Miller. Preceded in death by parents, sisters Betty Lydic and Wilma Morgan and brother-in-law Harry Fochtman. Survived by wife Lois (Varner) who would have celebrated their 50th anniversary next April, son Donald R Miller (Deborah), daughter Traci D Koehler (Robert), grandchildren Christy (Joshua) Gardner, Leigh (Thomas) Panetti, Jessica (Todd) Crane, Tanya Lenhart and Heather De Fazio, great grandchildren Sydney, Ashlyn and Elijah Gardner, Jude Panetti, Issac and William Crane, David Lenhart, Gianna Margucci, Aaron Lenhart and Ethan Lenhart, sister-in-law Janet Fochtman and niece Kim (Dave) Hirko and their son Ryan. Member of Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren. Pap was a soft spoken man with a generous heart. He loved his family so much and always had a smile on his face when family or friends stopped by. He never complained and took everything with a grain of salt. Even though he was in much pain, he never let it show. He always put his family concerns above his. He will be greatly missed. He loved his Lord and is reunited with past loved ones. It is hard to understand why people are taken from us, but we will find comfort in knowing he was a special part of our lives.
