Daniel Wicks

Daniel Wicks, 84, Davidsville, died November 4, 2019 at Laurel View Village. Born October 18, 1935 in Johnstown, son of A.R. and Zelda (Stiffler) Wicks. Preceded in death by parents; and brothers, Thomas and William. Survived by wife, Lois (Garshnick); children, Timothy and Amy, and her husband , Eugene; grandchildren, Taylor, Trent, Jake, Sabrina, and Trinity.  He was a member of Davidsville Community Church and a retired electrician from Beth. Steel Corp. with 36 years of service, and then worked as the attendant at the Dale Parking Lot. He served in the US Navy. The Wicks family extends a heart-felt thank you to everyone in the Arbor at Laurel View Village for the exceptional care given to Daniel over the years.   Friends received Thursday from 10 until the hour of service at 11AM at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. with Pastor Don Rough officiating. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Caring Fund at Laurel View Village.
