Charles D. Heffner

Charles D. Heffner, 82, Johnstown, died July 8, 2018 at Westmont Woods. Born November 28, 1935 in Johnstown, son of the late George M. and Elaine E. (Franklin) Heffner. Also, preceded in death by sister, Joann Horner and infant daughter, Debra Ann. Survived by wife of 60 years Margaret (Waltz); children, Kevin married to Carolyn and Karen married to Jeff Negrey; grandchildren, Dana married to Ryan Kenny, Taylor, Kathrine, Brandon and Christopher; great granddaughters, Reagan and Sawyer; brother, Donald married to Georgia and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of Moxham Lutheran Church. He loved the Steelers and Penguins. US Navy Veteran. Friends will be received Thursday from 2-8 pm at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. where a funeral service will be held Friday at 10:00 am. Interment Richland Cemetery.
