Anna (Hliva) Miller

Anna Miller, 88, Seward, formerly of Johnstown, passed away March 17, 2018 at home. Born December 3, 1929, in Yonkers, NY, daughter of Julius and Anna (Zachar) Hliva. Preceded in death by parents; sister Vera Repko; husband Edgar George Miller; and daughters, Cynthia McMinn and Lisa Miller. Survived by son, Robert “Skip” (Karen), Seward; daughter, Pamela Matolyak and life partner Dale Slosser, Bozeman, MT; son-in-law Harry “Butch” MicMinn, Johnstown; and sister-in-law Jean Rohde, Hollsopple. Also survived by grandchildren, Jennifer Callahan, Shane Matolyak (Connie); Mark McMinn (Lindsey); Timothy McMinn (Jackie); and Melissa Turner; and great grandchildren, Brendon and Raiya McMinn; Devin, Kate, and Kara Callahan; and Ellionna Ling; and many nieces and nephews. Anna was a US Navy veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. She loved her family, and they loved her. Friends received 6-8pm Wednesday at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where funeral service will be held Thursday at 11am with Pastor Brittany Wooten officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
