Anna R. Croft, 93, Johnstown, died September 13, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 7, 1926, in Huntingdon, daughter of John and Grace (Baumgardner) Rankin. Preceded in death by parents; and husband, Michael. Survived by daughters, Kati (Ronald Machtley); and Amy (Samuel Goughnour); grandchildren, Erin Clark, Todd Machtley, Brett Goughnour, and Emily Randall; and great grandchildren, Isaac, Jacob, Asher, Emma, Ashley, Piper, and Bennett. She was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, and PSEA. Anna was a volunteer at Memorial Medical Center and St. Vincent DePaul Society. She was a 1947 graduate of Shippensburg College. Anna was the founder and teacher of Mrs. Croft’s Kindergarten in Huntingdon, then began a 31 year career as a dedicated fourth grade teacher at Rachel Hill Elementary School in the Richland School District. Friends received from 10AM until the hour of service at 11AM Tuesday at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, with Pastor Scott Klimke officiating. Interment, Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. Arrangements are by Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St.
