Ronald C. Kautz, 82, Johnstown, died February 29, 2024 at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 17, 1941, in Johnstown. Son of Charles A. and Elsie (Simmons) Kautz. Preceded in death by parents, brother Albert, sister Lois Connelly and first wife Arda Mae Lohr. Survived by loving wife Judith (Gillin) Botteicher Kautz; children, Vicki Kautz, Charles A. II (Tonya Shultz); stepchildren, Gerald Botteicher (Krysi), Eric Botteicher (Chris), and Matt (Denise); grandchildren, Josh (Candace), Shawna, DeMichael, Amber, Ian, Bella, Brooke, Erick, Laila, Dominic, Owen and Vincent; great grandchildren, Brantley and Kane; sisters, Barbara Keppler and Beverly Howard. He was an active member of Derby Global Methodist Church, where he held many positions. Lifetime Southmont Volunteer Fire Company member. Retired Foreman of the Axel Plant, Bethlehem Steel Corp. Friends will be received Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of memorial service at 11:00 am, at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., Pastor Valeri Mize. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Derby Global Methodist Church, Capital Improvement Fund, in his name. Inurnment Grandview Cemetery.
