William E. McGinnis

William McGinnis, 84, Richland, died February 6, 2017, at Arbutus Park Manor. Born February 5, 1933, in Johnstown, son of William and Emma (Kessler) McGinnis. Preceded in death by parents; wife Barbara (Stuart) McGinnis; and sister Patricia Lybarger. Survived by daughter, Storm and her husband, David Nagle, Johnstown; sister-in-law, Gail (Frank Fabish) Westerville, OH; and brother-in-law, Robert Stuart (Barbara), Carolina Beach, NC. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and special “grand dogs”, Bailey and Rylee.  He was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, and Johnstown Lodge 175 BPO Elks. Bill was an avid Penn State fan and served as an usher at Beaver Stadium. He was retired from Penelec, and served in the US Army. Friends received 2 until 4 and 6 until 8pm Wednesday at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., where funeral service will be held Thursday at 10am with Pastor John Hollis officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery. Bill’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Arbutus Park Manor, for the care that Bill received during his stay at the manor.
