Telford R. Fuge

Fuge, Telford, R., 83, Johnstown, passed away January 18, 2017 at Laurelwood Care Center. Born November 12, 1933 in Johnstown, son of Charles Sr. and Kezetta (Dutton) Fuge. Preceded in death by parents, wife, Jane (Meek) Fuge, sister, Mary Louise Fuge and brother, Charles Fuge Jr. Survived by children, John Fuge of Johnstown, Kathryn Milberger married to Timothy of Oakmont, Richard Fuge also of Johnstown, grandchildren, Samuel Fuge, Melissa, Jacob and Daniel Milberger and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a lifetime member of the Franklin Street United Methodist Church, he served as past president of the Western PA U.M. Men, and on the board of U.M. Human Services and held various other positions over the years. He volunteered at Memorial Medical Center for many years. Served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He received his B.S. degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and his masters degree from University of Pittsburgh. He retired after 35 years of service from Hiram G Andrews.  Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, Central Ave. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 am at Franklin Street United Methodist Church, Pastor Terry Knipple. Interment Grandview Cemetery. The family suggests donations be made to the Franklin Street United Methodist church or the United Methodist Human Services.
