Nita Naldi (Brezovsek) Prossen

Nita Naldi (Brezovsek) Prossen, 92, Johnstown, died June 14, 2017, at Arbutus Park Manor. She was born July 5, 1924, in Conemaugh, daughter of Blas Brezovsek and Frances (Anzelc) Brezovsek.  She was preceded in death by parents; sister, Dorothy Litzinger; brother, William Brezovsek; and her husband, Ludwig Anthony Prossen. Survived by daughters, Bonnie, married to Michael  Harmon, North Carolina; Michele, married to Fred Sambor, Ohio; and granddaughter, Staci, married to Richard Evans, Mars, Pennsylvania. She was a member of St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church. She graduated from Conemaugh High School.  She worked in Glosser Brothers shoe department from 1965-1989. She was a member of the SNPJ Lodge #254 for 75 years. She loved to cook and bake for her family. The family would like to thank the staff, nurses, and friends at Arbutus Park Manor. Friends can be received from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Henderson Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave, Johnstown,Pa 15902, where vigil for the deceased will be held.
