Nicole S. Clippinger

Nicole S. Clippinger, 41, Johnstown, died November 17, 2017, at her home. She was born May 20, 1976, in Philipsburg, daughter of Robert Smeal and Beverly (Vaux) Thompson, She was preceded in death by her brother, Howard Smith, Jr. Along with her father, from OH, and her mother, from Hopewell, she is survived by her children, Emily, Cassie, and Chase; step-daughter, Kaylynn; grandchildren, Zayden, Aria, and Cassius; brother, Edward Emigh; and close friend “sister”, Hope Weaver. Nicole was a loving mother, daughter, sister, G-mama, and friend. She loved her children and grandchildren more than life itself. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Her calling was to change people’s lives through the art of hair. She found her passion while employed at Cuts and Stuff. She was currently employed at Room 1101, and stated she was “finally at home”. She was truly an earth angel who tried to change the world one person at a time. She had a rock star, larger than life personality, and was a friend and protector to many, including special friends, Krista S., Lance, Tracey N., Tracey S., Amanda, Katie V., and many more. She was a Godmother to Inez V., who was called home earlier this year. Nicole’s wish for us all would be to celebrate her life with the same passion as she lived hers. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Pastor Chris Valente, officiating.
