Marsha Kleinstub, formerly of Johnstown, passed away peacefully February 26, 2017, in Tampa, FL with her husband and family at her side. Born August 18, 1935 in Pittsburgh, daughter of William and Annette (Silverman) Felman. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Daniel; sister, Shirley Moritt; brother-in-law, Howard Dess; and nephew, Michael Kleinstub. Survived by husband of 61 years, Bernard; daughters, Marilyn Kleinstub, Johnstown; and Debbie Brooks, Florida; grandchildren, Taylor and Justin Brooks, both of Florida; Sister, Irene Dess, New York; and several nieces and nephews. Marsha had been an active member of both Rodef Shalom Synagogue and Beth Sholom Congregation in Johnstown. She was Sisterhood president and treasurer for both congregations. In Orlando, FL, she served as president of ORT. She was an avid sports fan, following her Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers since childhood, and she rooted tirelessly for her beloved Penn State Nittany Lions, her alma mater. Marsha will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, always putting others first. Friends received from 11am until the time of service at noon Wednesday, at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave, with Rabbi Irvin Brandwein officiating. Interment Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or Alzheimer’s Association.
