Lois E. Schoenberger

Lois E. Schoenberger, 75, Johnstown PA, went to meet our Lord and Savior on January 4, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on May 9, 1942 in Johnstown and was the daughter of the late Henry P. and Martha M. (Streilein) Schoenberger. She was preceded in death by her brother, H. Richard (Dick) Schoenberger and her nephews, Mark, Phillip & Thomas. Lois is survived by her brother Dick's children Bobbi Varadi (husband Les) & Paul Schoenberger (wife Elena); as well as her sister and brother-in-law, Martha & Bill Mangus and their children Vicki, Jeff & Jimmy; and her sister Karen Loechner and her children Kyle (wife Daria) & Kara Ungerboeck (husband Justin). She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Richland, a US Air Force Veteran and a highly respected physical therapist. Known to her nieces/nephews/great nieces/great nephews as Tante Lois, she was a loving and cherished Aunt who will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. Her family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to the staff of Richland Woods for providing excellent care of Lois in her final months of life.  Friends will be received on Tuesday January 9th from 3-4pm with her funeral service officiated by Pastor Jeff Bassett commencing at 4pm at Henderson Funeral Home East Hills, 2503 Bedford Street.
