Josephine R. (Ventry) Boyd

Josephine R. Boyd, 84, Johnstown, died January 16, 2017, at Richland Healthcare. She was born April 1, 1932, in Johnstown, daughter of Carl Ventry and Ida (Pantano) Ventry Koscienski. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles “Lefty” Boyd; brother, Anthony Ventry; sister, Betty Lou Juhas; and step-father, Stan Koscienski. She is survived by her sister, Anna M. Unger, and husband, James E.; aunts, Constance Cassanese and Sally Pantano; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and good friend, Ray Rodriguez. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. There will be no visitation or service. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
