Irene M. (Ludwiczak) Pundzak

Irene M. Pundzak, 91, formerly of New Castle, and most recently of Johnstown, died March 17, 2018, at Arbutus Park Manor. She was born August 21, 1926, in New Castle, daughter of the late Matthew and Veronica Ludwiczak. She was preceded in death by brothers, Edward and Raymond; and sisters, Alfreda and Jane. She is survived by her children, Francis, and fiancée, Carol Mau, Denver, CO; Geralyn, Pittsburgh; Brian, and wife, Tracey, Johnstown; and Gerald “Peach”, Johnstown; grandson, Travis Pundzak, and great granddaughter, Holly Pundzak. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Henderson Funeral Home East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral mass will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, the Rev. David S. Peles, celebrant.
