Hazel Jane (Plows) Steele

Steele, Hazel Jane, 89, Johnstown, passed away November 29, 2017 at home. Born January 4, 1928 in Johnstown, daughter of John C. and Goldie Mae (Penrod) Plows. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Earl R. Steele; brothers, John W., George Orville, Charles, Raymond Eugene, Clarence W.. Survived by sons, J.L. Steele, Greg Marlin Steele married to Deronda (Daniels) and Gary Alan Steele; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, Nancy married to Richard Rodgers; brother, Harry Melvin Plows; numerous nieces, nephews and the family Springer Spaniel dog Buddy. She loved going to Ocean City. There will be no viewing. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Inurnment Benshoff Hill cemetery.
