Florence B. (Breu) Muss

Florence B. Muss, 89, Conemaugh, died December 26, 2017, at UPMC Passavant Hospital. She was born June 5, 1928, in Johnstown, daughter of the late John Breu, Sr. and Caroline (Stiener) Breu. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Muss; daughter, Rose C.; brother, John; sisters, Caroline Breu, and Hilda Bauer; sister-in-law, Joanna Breu; brother-in-law, Luby Bauer; and daughter Mary’s fiancé Rick Peterson. She is survived by a daughter, Mary, Freedom; and son, Jonathan, Altoona; niece Judy Ott; and nephews, Jeff and Ted Bauer. She was a member of Church of the Transfiguration. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Henderson-Makuchan Funeral Home, 434 1^st St., Conemaugh, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Church of the Transfiguration, the Rev. Robert C. Hall, celebrant. Interment will be in St. Anthony Cemetery. www.hendersonfuneralhome.com
