Ernest A. Pudliner

Ernest A. Pudliner, 86, Johnstown, passed away June 11, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. Born October 1, 1930 in Johnstown, son of John and Mary Elizabeth (Streilein) Pudleiner. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Dr. John Pudliner and wife Marjorie (Todhunter), Albert Pudliner and wife Alberta (Senft) sister Alma Abel and husband Rev. Gene Abel. Survived by wife of 60 years Janet (Rowland), children, Ernest A. II married to Maria (Christakes), Liese married to David Reeder, Dr. Betsy A. Pudliner; grandchildren, Matthew PUdliner and Sean Reeder, step grandchildren, Heather Izewski, Kayla and Cody Reeder, step great granddaughters, Madison Izewski and Charlie Ray Reeder and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member and deacon at First Presbyterian Church. A member of Moxham old timers club and the Korean War Vets. He was a US Army Veteran, stationed in Japan. Also, he was a talented wood carver and photographer. Former teacher at Laurel Valley. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Grandview Mausoleum, Rev.
