Erna L. (Giebfried) Callihan

Erna L. Callihan, 95, Geistown, died February 13, 2017, at Arbutus Park Manor. She was born February 22, 1921, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Jacob and Julia (Gerber) Giebfried. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton H. Callihan, Jr.; and brother, William Giebfried. She is survived by her son, John Callihan, and wife, Renee (Purbaugh), Johnstown; grandson, Sean Callihan, and wife, Courtney; granddaughter, Shannon Bradley, and husband, Joseph; great grandchildren, Lauren Callihan, Lindsay Callihan, Ireland Bradley, Callihan Bradley, Finnegan Bradley, Hagen Bradley, and Mackinnley Bradley; and her sister, Shirley Morisi, and husband, Stuart. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. There will be no public visitation. Friends and family are invited to attend funeral mass at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, the Rev. David S. Peles, celebrant. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Erna’s name to Arbutus Park Manor, or to Windber Hospice.
