Elinor Rosezella (Hostetler) Foster

FOSTER- Elinor Rosezella (Hostetler), 81, Richland Township, was accompanied by angels to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on May 19, 2017. Born on March 26, 1936 in Johnstown to Elmer R. and Edith R. (Dodge) Hostetler. Preceded in death by parents, husband James E. Foster, brothers Ernest R., Earl R., Eugene R., and Ervin R. Hostetler, sisters Ellen R. Stuver and Edna R. Mitchell. Survived to cherish her memory; brother E. Randall and wife Mary Hostetler of LaVale, MD and sister Eva R. Petry of Port St. Lucie, FL, brother-in-law Theodore P. Foster Jr. and wife Jacquelyn of Fort Walton Beach, FL, sons James E. II Foster and wife Donna K. of Salem, VA and Kip D. Foster of Roanoke, VA; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Her family moved to Fishertown area of Bedford County in her teens and is a 1955 graduate of Bedford High School. . She was a telephone operator in Bedford before marriage to become a homemaker. Member of Belmont United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. In keeping with Elinor’s wishes, family and friends will be received from 1:00 until time of Memorial Service at 2:00 Saturday, June 10 ,2017 at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. Rev Keith Dunn , officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Belmont United Methodist Church memorial fund, 107 Coldren St., Johnstown, PA 15904 or Benevolent Care Fund at Arbutus Park Manor, 207 Ottawa St., Johnstown, PA 15904.
