Deborah K."Deb" (Sicola) Wilson

Wilson, Deborah K. “Deb” (Sicola), 64, Johnstown, passed away February 1, 2017 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Deborah was born in Altoona on February 7, 1952, the daughter of Alfred and Connie (Marinucci) Sicola. Preceded in death by parents, husband, Albert Wilson who died on March 1, 2015. Survived by children, Alicia Sprangle, Amber and Alanna Wilson all of Johnstown, grandchildren, Jerrell, Jesaiah, Jamal, Jabez and Aleksandr. Also, step daughters Michelle (Carlton) Haselrig, and Monique Suide, and thirteen step grandchildren, five step great grandchildren, special family member Deacon Eugene Sprangle, brother, Michael Sicola (Frances) of Vienne, VA and sister, Marlena Dell of Altoona, sisters-in-law Darlene Eley (Michael) and Robin Wilson, numerous nieces and nephews. She is a retired Home Visitor from CAPCC Head start after 33 years of service. A position of which was the passion of her life as a teacher. Friends will be received Friday from 6-8 pm and Saturday 10 am until time of service at noon at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., Rev. Samuel Scales.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Deborah’s name to 1889 Foundation at the Conemaugh Cancer Care Center. Interment Benshoff Hill Cemetery. www.hendersonfuneralhome.com
