Barbara G. (Fredrick) Keith

Keith, Barbara G., 64, Johnstown, died October 9, 2013, at her home. Born January 26, 1949, daughter of Dewey John and Annabelle Frederick. Preceded in death by father, granddaughter Emily Catherine Keith and brother, Terry Kauffman. Survived by mother, Annabelle Kauffman, Johnstown; husband, Albert D. Keith, Sr., whom she was married to for 43 years; children, Albert Jr., Florida; Suzanne (Brian) Zevorich, Sidman; and Erin (Marty) Hobbs, Maryland; grandchildren, Albert III, Austin and Gillian Keith, Bridget, Ariel and Joseph Zevorich, Madeline, Abigail and Hadley Hobbs; brothers, Barry and Larry Kauffman; and sister Sherri (Ed) Fox, all of Johnstown. Also survived by brothers-in-law, Jay (Carol) Keith, Sr., Johnstown; Sherman Miller, Portage; sisters-in-law, Doris Faith, Johnstown; and Kay (David) Bennett, Rantowl, Illinois; many nieces, nephews and cousins who she dearly loved. Formerly employed with her husband in Keith’s Floor Care Service. She was a 1966 graduate of Johnstown High School. Barb loved children, especially her grandchildren. She loved baking, making candy and playing games with them. They were her pride and joy. She was a member of Ferndale United Methodist Church. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. and on Saturday at the Ferndale United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at 11 a.m., Pastor’s Len Findley and John Hollis, officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barb’s name to the Ferndale United Methodist Church Children/Youth Programs, 701 Vickroy Avenue, Johnstown, PA 15902.
