FISHER– Barbara Lee (Nash), 81, Johnstown. Born February 17, 1936. Lost her battle with gastric cancer on June 14, 2017 at home surrounded by love and her family. Preceded in death by parents, Evan and Della (Thomas) Nash, brother- in -law Ronald Fisher married to Agnes (Sloan). Survived by loving husband of 63 years, Wayne Fisher, sister Delores (Dodie) married to Adam Thomas VanScoyoc of Hanover, PA, brother- in- law Norman Fisher married to Carol (Baird), daughters, Jodi married to Lewis Tresnicky and Nancy married to Stephen Dickert all of Johnstown, Son, Jeffrey Fisher married to Tammy (Gaines) of Bellefonte, grandchildren, Leisha (Tresnicky) married to Gary Black Jr. of Seanor, Luke Tresnicky married to Austin (Harrell) of Pittsburgh, Dr. Christopher Tresnicky married to Rochelle (Jones) of Richland, Joshua Dickert married to Kayla (Rosemas)of Mineral Point, Mariah Dickert of Pittsburgh and Sara Thompson of Bellefonte, great-grandchildren, Cassidy, Ethan, Jacob, Danika, Braeden Black; Isaac, Amelia, Eloise Tresnicky; Alexander, Victoria, Isabella, Natalia Tresnicky and Kyrielle Dickert. Also, many beloved nieces and nephews. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, and MawMaw. Her family was her life. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Myrtle Beach, sewing and crafts. In her youth, she was employed by many businesses in downtown Johnstown including the War Memorial, Thrift Drug, Hub Dept. Store, Grants Dept. Store, Punky’s Pizza and the Hat Store. She was the owner of The Old Toll Gate Inn from 1974-1986 and continued as the book-keeper until October of 2016. Barbara loved movies, going to dinner and spending time with her friends. To know her was to love her, she found something special in everyone she met. She will be greatly missed. Friends and family will be received from 10:30am until a celebration of her life at 11:30am, Sunday July 9, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Mundy’s Corner. Reverend Kevin McNamara and close friend Rev. Dr. Wilbert Boerstler presiding.
