Anthony Bizjak Obituary

Anthony S. Bizjak, 93, Manassas, VA, formerly of Johnstown, died February 10, 2018. Born May 16, 1924, in Bon Air, son of John and Frances Bizjak. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Ann (Balchin); son, Thomas; brothers, Donald, Edward, and Victor; and sisters, Sally Milavec, and Mary Torok. Survived by sons, Anthony(Patty), Manassas, VA; and Christopher (Sarita), Culpeper, VA; 3 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. He was retired from Bethlehem Steel. He served as mayor of Franklin Borough, and was a US Army Veteran of World War II. Member of Knights of Columbus. Friends received 11am until the hour of service at noon Thursday at Henderson-Makuchan Funeral Home, 434 First St., Conemaugh, with Rev. Father Robert Hall officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Franklin Borough Volunteer Fire Company. Committal, Grandview Mausoleum.
